Immersive Pentathlon Experience Training
Every May, 5th grade classes across North America come together to participate in the Pentathlon Games. This is the crowning event of the 5th grade year, a year in which the study of humans on earth, in all of their varied cultures and origins, is taken up and explored by the 5th grader. The last culture they undertake is that of Classical Greece. Not only do they learn of the mythology, and the qualities of the gods (which they strive to embody in this event), but also of the emergence of democracy, philosophy, poetry and theater.
Sun Mountain Community School will offer Santa Fe community 5th graders the Pentathlon experience this year. The training to prepare for the event in May begin April 6th. Learn more by clicking.
